The schooner Elizabeth of Bridport en
route from Bridport to Hartlepool laden with
lias came ashore at Robin Hood’s Bay
on the night of Thursday week. The crew were
saved and the vessel has since been towed
off and brought in to Whitby to discharge
having sustained heavy damage.
